System

This website is based on the Content Management System (CMS) Joomla! 
All functions have been tested with the following browsers:
  • Alphabets (Google) Chrome
  • Firefox
  • Microsoft Edge (based on Chromium)
  • Vivaldi

The operating system shouldn't have much impact on the website's functionality as all work is done in the browser and on the server where the website is located. The system supports both:

  • PC, both desktops and laptops
  • Tablet
  • Smartphone

The website has been tested on all three platforms and adapts to the different screen sizes. For tablets and smartphones it has been tested with Android.

Language

The primary language is Danish. Except for articles related to our newsletters, all articles are translated into English and German, with the help of  DeepL Translate. This has presented some challenges, especially with maritime words, so if you find any "unfortunate" translations, please let me know.

Dataformats

Different data formats are used if you want to save/print on your own computer:
  • Images are, generally, in webp format
  • All scanned documents, Newsletters and Membership Folder, are in PDF format and displayed in the way you have chosen for your computer, they can also be saved locally

Print

All articles on the website can be printed by using the buttons: [ctrl]+p (hold down the ctrl button and press p). The article will be reformatted, without menus, to the desired paper size, e.g. A4.
